William Thornley eut probablement l’occasion de cotoyer le peintre et graveur Alfredo Müller (1869-1939) notamment lorsque ce dernier réalisa à Osny (Au Petit Moulin) en 1903 six grandes frises lithographiques à six couleurs (Les Paons, Les Cygnes, La Neige, La Dînette, Le Quadricycle, Les Pigeons.)
A l’occasion du 150 ème anniversaire d’Alfrédo Müller, une exposition se tint au musée William Thornley du 6 septembre 2019 au 6 janvier 2020 (Les années d’Osny : 1901 à 1903).
William Thornley had probably the opportunity to work with the painter and engraver Alfredo Müller (1869-1939), notably when the latter produced in Osny (Au Petit Moulin) in 1903 six large lithographic friezes in six colors (The Peacocks, The Swans, The Snow, The Dinette, The Quadricycle, The Pigeons.)
On the occasion of Alfredo Müller’s 150th birthday, an exhibition was held at the William Thornley Museum from September 6, 2019 to January 6, 2020 (The Osny Years: 1901 to 1903).
