Il s’agit de la huitième lithographie du second recueil réalisé par William Thornley d’après François Boucher publié en 1881. Traitée « aux deux crayons » (à la façon de) , elle représente une jeune femme accoudée regardant vers le bas.
L’expression délicate de son visage est rendue avec beaucoup de finesse.

Executed in two crayons (in the style of), it depicts a young woman reclining on her elbow, looking down. The delicate expression on her face is conveyed with great finesse.
